Fixes (performance and glitches):
- flavour text in the notifications now displays properly for users without RoM + GtW
- riv_auto performance improved by reducing file writes (reduces lag when a sim is born)
- riv_auto now has support for setting it up with pre-existing json files (say, if you hit "save as" and your save ID changes, and you want to re-link the files used to back up info to your save)
- riv_auto will prevent you from setting up automatic updates on an autosave slot resolved bug where some renamed sims would still have their previous name in the .json file
- resolved bug where switching from a save with riv_auto set up to one without riv_auto would cause the second save's sims to be added to the first save's .json files
- resolved bug where sometimes the parent rels wouldn't be loaded in, causing the mod to think that nobody was related
Core commands:
- main riv_rel command no longer has the 'more info' section
- new command riv_rel_more_info to see more on each relation, i.e. each relation line-by-line with the connecting sims (usually siblings), including step-relations!
- connecting sims aren't applicable for direct rels
- this command will also attempt to find step relations - this feature is very experimental and honestly, very rarely works (in which case it'll just list biological and inlaw), so if you actually see a step rel please show me!
- riv_rel_all is now formatted the same way as riv_rel, so you'll get each relation as "sim_y is sim_x's double first cousin" instead of "sim_y: ['first cousin', 'first cousin']"
- new command riv_rel_all_all (please be very very careful with this one: it checks every pair of sims in the game, which can take a really long time if you've been playing that save for a few generations!)
- new command riv_rel_rand_rand (gets relation between two random sims)
Additional options (will be automatically sorted out when the game starts):
- "riv_rel_autojson.cfg" will become "riv_rel - individual save settings.cfg" since it'll now store more options
- framework exists to clear out options that shouldn't be there or add in options that should be there on game load
- advanced option to use currentsession files (you probably won't need to change this! if set to true, it writes to files on every update to sims+rels, which means you'll be able to see fresher data but it impacts performance)
- option to always check for step rels (with the exception of riv_rel_all and riv_rel_all_all) - please note this is still an unreliable feature so you're more likely to just get an extra delay instead
NEW family traits addon for designating various members of your family (at the moment, they are very light on actual additional gameplay, but they help a lot to easily keep track of which sims are in your legacy)
- Gameplay traits for eight families (A is your main family and has a tiny bit of additional gameplay, and families B to H are just for tracking some others):
- fam, inc, exc, heir, founder gameplay traits for eight families (main family A, extra families B-H)
- fam is for your founder and their descendants
- inc is for included family members not related to your founder (e.g. spouses)
- exc is for excluded sims, and prevents the sim from gaining any of the other traits (e.g. disowned)
- heir of family A gets interactions to add inc, exc, or heir traits to eligible sims
- commands to add each of the above traits
- commands to list sims with these traits
- commands to easily remove all of my family traits (no effect on the relations)
- options to automatically add family members / include sims in family
- I'd recommend getting started by running "riv_add_founder sim_x A" for your founder, as this will add them and their descendants to family A, or run "riv_add_to_family sim_x A" for any of their descendants if the founder has since been culled. then set a sim in your household (that is in family A) as the heir so that you can use the social interactions! please note there can only be one founder for each family, but you can have as many heirs as you want
- club requirements addon to this addon
- you can set fam/inc traits as club requirements, thanks to scumbumbo's code!
- added help menu to the computer addon

- LE on households loading in has been fixed (and tested, and tested, and tested)
- riv_rel_computer_addon.package now has all string tables, so players with their games in another language won't see blank strings
